Randomise entries in list - Lucky Draw Plus feature

Image
When you load your draw entries file in Lucky Draw Plus, there is a setting in the Load entries form to Ransomise entries in the draw list. If this setting is on, the entries in your list will be loaded to the draw screen in a random order. By default, this setting is on. If you want you list to load in the same order as in your file, turn this setting off.  Whether this setting is on or off, your winner is always picked randomly from your full list of entries.

Winner Certificate - Lucky Draw Plus feature

Image
After each lucky draw, a Winner Certificate is saved, which you can download and share to your site or social media. Download your Winner Certificates in the Draw results page - from the Menu icon, go to Results. Your draw results for both Test and Live draws are listed, with the most recent on top.  Click the Certificate download icon to download the certificate for each draw. After your draw, it takes a second or two to save your Winner Certificate. If you navigate too quickly away from your draw, the certificate may not be saved in time. This includes if you: Close your browser window Start a new draw Go to another page, for example Settings or Results. To make sure your Winner Certificate is saved after each draw, wait for the Refresh icon to appear on the Winner banner. This will tell you that the Certificate has finished saving. You can then safely re-draw, or navigate to a different page. If you have any questions about your Winner Certificates, please contact us any time on...

How do draw credits work? - Lucky Draw Plus FAQ

Image
Each one credit allows you to do one live draw (pick a random winner). That one draw can have unlimited entries in it. Credits do not expire. You can buy more credits at any time to add to your balance of remaining credits. Each time you do a live draw, you will use up just one of your credits, no matter how many entries there are. An email will be sent to you each time you do a live draw, detailing your remaining credits. Test draws do not use up credits, and you can do an unlimited number of test draws. You can view a history of your payments, and download your invoices, in the Payment history tab. You can view a history of your draws (both live and test), and their winners, in the Draw history tab. We will get you started with 5 live draw credits when you register free for Lucky Draw Plus. Find out more Try it free

What do I need technically to do a Lucky Draw? - Lucky Draw Plus FAQ

Image
Lucky Draw Plus is a website, so you don't need to install anything! To run a Lucky Draw you will need: For virtual and in-person events: Internet access. A web browser. A device (mobile, tablet, PC etc) to control your Lucky Draw from. The device you use needs to have the ability to upload your entries file (spreadsheet or CSV), but it does not need to have Excel installed. And, for in-person events only: A screen or projector to display your Lucky Draw live to your audience. Speakers, if you would like them to hear the sound effects. Find out more

What size screen can I present my live Lucky Draw on? - Lucky Draw Plus FAQ

Image
Lucky Draw Plus is designed to adapt to all screen sizes from mobile up to very large, so you can use a projector or a large high resolution TV or monitor and it will still look stunning, and be unforgettable. Make sure that if you upload your own images they are high resolution images so they look crisp at very large sizes. You should design your images for the screen resolution you intend to use for live presentation. Lucky Draw Plus has a fullscreen mode so that the draw shows your full screen design perfectly - it won't look like a website. Find out more

Does every entry have an equal chance of winning the Lucky Draw? - Lucky Draw Plus FAQ

Image
Yes. The winner is picked randomly from the full list of entries. Say you have an entries list with 100 entries, the winner will be picked randomly from the full list, so each entry has a 1/100 chance of winning. If you want some entrants to have a higher chance of winning, repeat their entries in your list. For example, you have 100 comments on your social media post. 10 of them came from User1. Repeat User1 10 times in your entries list - now they have a 10/100 or 1/10 chance of winning.   If you are doing multiple draws at one event, say for first, second and third prize, then you can use the 'Remove winner from list after draw' feature if you do not want the same winner to win twice. How many entries can I have in my Lucky Draw? - Lucky Draw Plus FAQ

Image
We don't limit the number of entries you can load for each draw at all, so in theory this is unlimited. However in practice, the device you are using may limit you, depending on the amount of memory that it has. To give you an idea, you can handle 100 000+ entries on a mid-range laptop a couple of years old, so you should be good for most draws. If you have way more entries than that, how about splitting your draw into heats? Draw a winning name for each heat, and then enter those winners into a Grand Finale. Find out more
